| City Tour: 1.Tian’anmen Square-Forbidden City-Jinshan Park-Hutong Exploration Tour Description: Take subway or taxi to the Tian’anmen Square, walk around the biggest city square in the world and take a glimpse of the Chairman Mao’s portrait. Then come across the Tian’anmen gate to the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace of the emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasty, which is the largest place in the world with many antiques inside. The 30 minute rickshaw tour stops at local family where the traveler can get an insight of the home settings and life of traditional Beijingers. 2.Temple of Heaven-Olympic Park-Summer Palace Tour Description: Drive to the Temple of Heaven, the Imperial worshiping place in the ancient time, is the largest preserved religious constructional group in China at moment, which turns into a park where the local people use the vast space for social activity such as singing, dancing, and Taiji practice. After lunch, drive to the summer palace, it’s the Summer Resort for the ancient emperors with more than 800 year, consisting of KunMing lake and Longevity hill, is the one of largest Garden in the world. Wonderful scenery combined with the solemn buildings make you a wonderful time here. Olympic Park, the most important place for the Beijing Olympics and the best place to learn about the Olympics. You’ll need about two hours here. First have a look at the amazing architectural masterpiece-the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and take a picture there. Then walk west from there to see the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), another Olympic venue. 2.Great Wall at Mutianyu Less renovated Wall where you can have a glimpse of the wild Wall. Less visited and quieter. Get a glimpse of the rural life in the countryside. English guide license from China National Tourism Bureau, mainly based in Beijing.
