GUEST42217 Hi, this seems to be a very old message. But still want to reply. Not many Chinese food/cooking involves maple syrup.

However, we use a lot of sugar in the cooking...

Email me at hotmail.com|xiaoyujia if you want to know more...

GUESTLSLAPRISE Canadian Liquid gold is a Canadian high-end maple syrup manufacturer which is presently entering the Chinese market! They have a few interesting Chinese recipes made with maple syrup available in their website.

GUESTPETER It's not just the syrup but allied products that are scares in China. You may find maple syrup in Tier 1 and 2 cities but probably not beyond that as the distribution chain is weak foe many upscale or "luxury" products. Frankly speaking as an importer/exporter, the price is way to high for the China marketplace. There needs to be an education campaign and a massive drop in price per liter of various syrups and water.
