* visa on Pakistani Passport

As salam alaikum all,

I was working in Shenzhen China as COO in a Chinese company on Z visa. I worked there for a year and at the time of renewal we came to know that visa process is incomplete. My company Health and Employment certificate within first month. But we failed to inform to local police station and thus did not apply for residence permit.

I paid 1500 RMB and my company paid 5000 RMB as penalty. Finally after 5 days of prison they gave me * visa for to leave China in 10 days.

Now I am back to Pakistan. What should I do in this case? Whether I should get a new passport or apply on the same passport with * visa on it?

btw I am also married to Chinese national, will it help?

any help will be appreciated.

Oh, the * visa states that you have bad record during your first visit to China, and it will affact your visa application this time. But you can have a try and explain to the embassy if they accept an explaination for unmeant fault. Married to Chinese may helps.
