guest82115 Hi there,
i m new here but live already a time in China. One thing interested me and i everytime forget to ask my friends.
I live in Nanjing so its maybe only there but if you listen a while to the nice lady voice, talking about behavior in the subway station, there will be also a time she will say:

"to be civilized people..."
(i forget the rest everytime i think its something like ... let the arriving people get off first..)

How does Chinese people think about this? I mean they actually say that they dont think that you are civilized (or they think foreigners are not civilized..)
I felt strange the first time i heard it and waited till i could hear it again...

The voice just reminds those uncivilized people to be civilized. I used subway in Beijing. When the subyway comes, you will hear "Let the passengers off first..." But some people still try to squeeze in.

I think it is normal and for everyone doesn’t distinguish between foreigner and local people. Doesn’t matter.
