Expect to visit my son based in Shanghai this March/April. Expect to arrive in Shanghai ( will probably stay a week) and depart from Hong Kong.

Suggestion on tours, routes, etc would be appreciated.

Sorry, you've given us far too little information to work with. We have no idea about what you like, what you're interested in seeing/doing/experiencing, expected daily budget, etc.

If you tell us what floats your boat, we might be able to give you some general ideas, rather than you needing to read the entire whopping big volume!
