PEPPERMINT Points: Join Date: Dec 14, 2004 Status: offline	hi, there! Anyone can help me with some info on taxi in Lanzhou, Gansu? Is it expensive? Can i bargain? Is there a difference between day and night, say after 2230? many thanx!

TOMORROWNEVE... Points: Join Date: Sep 29, 2004 Status: Offline	7 yuan for the first three kms .Then 1.4 yuan for next each km.No extra fee at night. You can bargain , say 5 for the first three kms. Also you can bargain while it's late at night.

But you do not have to take it in the Yellow river, perhaps there are no legal sheepskin sailers. You can touch it and take some pics.

RITA Points: Join Date: May 10, 2005 Status: Offline	Yes, I did see people take sheepskins rafts in Yellow River, but sheepskin rafting is just like many other activities done sub rosa in China, seems fun and interesting, once accidents happen, no one takes responsibilities. By the way, there are no licenced sheepskin rafters nowadays.
