Hi,
I am seeking advice, suggestions, information, regarding my intended travel.
I am filipina and worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for past 10 years. My employment contract ends November 22, 2010. I will not be renewing it and must exit Hong Kong for Philippines on December 5, 2010.
Last February 27, 2010 I gave birth to my daughter, as her father is a USA citizen, she has a USA Passport and a Philippine Passport. Since her birth she has been on her Philippine Passport with her visa dates same as mine.
My plan is to return to Hong Kong on 20 December 2010 and remain until January 2, 2010 and then to Macau for a few days, and back to Hong Kong for 13 days then returning to Philippines.
I have heard that I need invitation letter to come here on this trip. ALso there may be some difficulty in getting into Hong Kong, going to Macau and then returning again to Hong Kong.
I have bank accounts here with more than sufficient money to sustain myself and my daughter. In addition I leased an apartment 4 months ago and intend to keep it, so no issue of place to stay. I want to be prepared so I encounter no visa problems for my trip and stay.
Thanks for your comments.

GUEST04154 Philippines passport holders are exempted from visa to HK for 14 days and Macao for 30 days. But as your plan, to leave on December 5, return on December 20 and with another entry few days later, this three entries are close, maybe the HK immigration will require you for applying a multiple visa while an invitation letter from a HK sponsor is helpful.

You can apply for a double-entry [tcgurl=http://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/hongkong.htm]Hong Kong visa[/tcgurl] from China embassy in Manila or consulates in Cebu/Laoag, however, according to your planned trip, you won't stay in Hong Kong for more than 14 days, therefore, you don't need to apply for Hong Kong visa, the important documents for you to go to Hong Kong or Macau is you and your daughter's passports, your bank account, return flight ticket.
