| On Wednesday, Liu Xiang refreshed Asian Games Record in 110-meter hurdles with 13.09 seconds. It is the third time that he has claimed the gold medal after he broke the Asian Games record four years ago in Doha and eight years ago in Pusan. Shi Dongpeng, his teammate, claimed the silver medal. The result at the Asian Games was his best since he came back in September. But it is still far behind the World’s New Record 12.87 seconds. After the Asian Games, Liu Xiang will focus on the preparations for the 2011 world championships as well as the 2012 London Olympics. Just give him my best wish: Keep up and break the new World Record. |
