Can use english name for kid's ID in China

guest04175 Myself lucky and I got married to chinese national.
My question is can we use English name for my kid's ID instead of any chinese name?

Any suggestion or help in this regards will be helpful.

No English letters are accepted in China ID.
But those English names in chinese characters are accepted. So i think you can have your daughter's english name translated into chinese and then have it registered.

My family name is "TAK". But I am not able to find a translation in Chinese. Could you suggest some website or any other resource where can I get proper translation for my son's name.
