Best place to exchange RMB

Hi there,

I have about 3,500 unused RMB that I want to exchange for either USD or Cad dollars before I return to Canada. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? In China, at the bank, or at the airport?
Also, I forgot to bring my reciept from Canada with me, proving I got RMB in Canada. Will this be a problem?

Personally , i think you had better change it in the bank instead of black market.Sometimes , you get better exchange rate in the black market but sometimes you also have the chance to get scammed here . Exchanging the money in the bank is relible and donot need any other documents here . Cheers .

I am with Gionvia. Just exchange USD at the bank. At least, you won't get fake RMB.

In China, exchange money in the black markets is illegal.
