Materials for apply Z visa
(FOUR steps in the whole process of Z visa)

Step one: Apply for employment license （11 working days）
Materials for company:
1.Copy of Business license (duplicate) with the company’s seal
2. According to the company (either)
1) For foreign-owned enterprise: Copy of Foreign Merchant Investment Authorization Certificate, with a seal;
2) For domestic enterprise: Original and Copy of Social Security Registration Book, with a seal;
（Note:If branch office ,Copies of Business License and Foreign Merchant Investment Authorization Certificate of the head office to be stamped with its official seal,and provide Authorization Letter）
3. written application report to Chinese labor bureau and social security bureau.(explain the reason for hiring ,the position [must higher than the department manager]; and stamp the company’s seal on the report.)
4. Letter of intent for the employment of the employee (For those who will be deputy-managers or the higher positions, the resolution of the board of directors and the articles of association of the company should be provided.)
5. An authorization letter to be sealed with the stamp of the employer
NOTE: the registered capital of the company should be higher than 500,000RMB.
Materials for applicant:
1、Applicant’s Chinese resume with company’s seal.
2、Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma certificate (Original page, copy and its Chinese translation page with its translation company’s seal on it)
3、Copy of valid Passport of the employee
4、Copy of the physical examination report of the employee
5、Application Form to be filled in and sealed with the stamp of the employer
6、1 colorful pics in 2 inch and white background
7、Original more than 2 years working reference letter abroad. (Translate in to Chinese with the seal of Translation Company)

 Step two:
Solution one: Converting your current F/L visa into two-month Z visa without leaving China. （10-15 working days）
Materials for company:
1.Copy of Business license (duplicate) with the company’s seal
2. According to the company (either)
1) For foreign-owned enterprise: Copy of Foreign Merchant Investment Authorization Certificate, with a seal;
2) For domestic enterprise: Original and Copy of Social Security Registration Book, with a seal;
Materials for applicant:
1. Original passport and valid visa
2. Copy of Temporary residence permit in Beijing
3. 2 colorful pics in 2 inch and white or blue background
4. Original medical-check report
5. Copy of Employment license
Solution two: apply for working invitation letter, and then use the letter together with the original Employment License to go to any country’s Chinese embassy to apply for two-month Z visa .


Step three: Apply for working permit（5 working days）
Materials for company:
1.Copy of Business license (duplicate) with the company’s seal
2. The copy of Employment contract with company’s seal（(Translate in to Chinese with the seal of Translation Company)
3. An authorization letter to be sealed with the stamp of the employer
Materials for applicant:
1. Original Employment license
2. Original physical examination report
3. Working permit application form
4. Original Passport with valid visa and a copy
5. 2 colorful pics in 2 inch and white or blue background


Step four: Apply for one-year residence permit. （5 working days）
Materials for company:
1. Original Business license (duplicate) and a Copy with the company’s seal
Materials for applicant:
2. Original passport and valid visa
3. Copy of Temporary residence permit in Beijing
4. Original working permit and a Cpoy
5. Original physical examination report
6. Visa or residence permit application form with company’s seal
7. 1 colorful pics in 2 inch and white or blue background
8. visa interview
NOTE:
1. The whole process will require 6*2 inch passport photos with white or light blue background.
2. It will take 35 working days or so to finish the whole process of Z visa.
