Suggestions for Daning River tour departure from Shanghi or if better {Beijing,https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing.htm}. I would like to depart Shanghi 2 April 2011. I am a 71 yr female. Thank You for any additional advice of great viewing of nature.

Well, {Shanghai,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai.htm} is a little closer to it than Beijing.
Have you ever thought about [tcgurl=http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cruise/]Yangtze River Cruise[/tcgurl], the scenery is more beautiful.

The Cruise Ships charge 1.75 addditional for a single traveler.
Whilst I understand their need to charge I choose not to pay.
