![]() | Good question I can't find any reference to different name for a subsidiary of a subsidiary. The definition of a subsidiary is a company whose controlling interest is held by another company. The parent company is not necessarily a larger company but it must control more than 50% of the subsidiary. I assume therefore that the sub subsidiary company is then simply a subsidiary of its parent company, which is, in itself, a subsidiary of its parent company. There does not have to be a connection between the "grandson" company and the "grandparent" company as the separate companies are "entities" or corporate bodies in their own right.Maybe a corporate lawyer will correct me ![]() |
