What kind of clothes should I pack? Are there any skiing resorts in Beijing? I want to visit Forbidden City, Great Wall, Birds’ Nest and Hutongs. Unfortunately, I have no idea about how to arrange an itinerary. Can anyone here help me?

it's very colde these days in beijing ,and you have to take the warm clothes .
How long you will stay in beijing ?If your time is limited ,i think you can visit Ba daling Great wall and then go to Forbidden city .it's near.If you have enough time ,and i suggest that you can visit Si ma tai ,mu tian yu Great wall ,it's better!it doesn't have so many people .

It's very convinient to go to Bird's nest ,and you can spend half a day there ,and then you can have a good rest .For the hu tong sightseeing ,i think you can go to some typical hutong ,it's near to hou hai ,and after the sightseeing ,you can go to hou hai ,and enjoy the night life there!

GUESTMARK	Thank you for all your suggestions. I do not prefer to hire a tour guide. Currently, there are too many unqualified tour guides. I'd rather join a tour. It is much more safe though I may spend much more money.

Then, you are required to apply for a visa to China from Chinese embassy in your country, and as well the invitation letter is required.
