Harbin Ice and Snow Festival has been open!!

The opening ceremony of [tcgurl=https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/heilongjiang/harbin/ice_snow.htm]Harbin Ice and Snow Festival[/tcgurl] 2011 is held in Jan. 5, in {Harbin,https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/heilongjiang/harbin/} Snow World. There are totally over a hundre activities about ice and snow. The other two venues are Zhaolin Park and Sun Island. Apart from ice and snow sculpture competitions, there are many sports games to be held. It is said that teams from one hundred coutries all over the world will join in the snow sculpture competition.

To show Harbin is a city of ice and snow, they make the whole city as a snow resort. There are ice and snow sculptures in the main roads, squares, big communities, bus and train stations. What an imcomparable city it is, a world of snow, ice and lanterns.

The festivall lasts nearly two months and to be end in late Feb. Come and enjoy the spectacular wonderland!
