Need advice on Tibet Travel

guesttibet I haven’t been to China before. I am preparing a trip to {Tibet,https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/tibet/} this March. I have heard that foreigners are not allowed to enter Tibet alone. If I want to go there, I must get a permit and join a group tour. Is this true?

It is hard to get information about China it is a very closed country .
