Although Zheng Jie withdrew from the Australia Open due to her injury, another Chinese tennis player Peng Shuai has surprised us with her victory over Jankovic, the former World No.1 in the second round of the Australia Open.

Jankovic has an absolute advantage. She won 6 of 7 matches when playing with Peng Shuai. But she didn’t play well this time. She made 39 unforced errors during the match. Peng only had 20.

Peng has climbed up to the 44th after this match. If she can win in the third round, she will replace Zheng Jie to be No.2 of Chinese Women’s Tennis.

Good luck in next round.

Kevin, Peng failed to be qualified for the eighth final. It is a pity. But Li Na has beaten her rival and entered the semi-final. Last year, she entered the semi-final too. Now she gets her ranking to World No.8.
