SEANONG Points: Join Date: Jan 21, 2011 Status: offline	hi guys i wish to take up a course in shanghai in "VIDAL SASSOON ACADEMY" but it is register as a company not a school so i went to shanghai china embassy try to apply for a X VISA but they told me i cant apply for X VISA because vidal sassoon academy is a company not a school, And i can only apply for L visa which is valid for only 1 month but my course duration is 8 months, can anybody advise which visa should i apply to stay there for more then 6months? other then X visa thanks

HELPER Points: Join Date: Nov 3, 2009 Status: Offline	What passport do you hold? In my opinion, you can apply for an one month L visa, and the L visa can be extended twice in China. After that, you may need to leave China and apply for a new visa to re-enter China for next few months. or, it is applicable to entrust an visa agency if you want to process your visa without leaving.
