Will French Open retreat from Roland Garros?

The French Open has been held at Roland Garros since 1928. Will you feel pity if the French Open “retreats” from Roland Garros?

According to the French Tennis Federation, the contract with Roland Garros Tennis Court will terminate in 2015. Now they have chosen some candidate places and the final result will be published in February.

Currently, the FTF has three choices:

1. Let the French Open stay at Roland Garros but the court must be expanded.
2. Versaille Castle, which is 12 miles from Paris.
3. Disneyland, which is about 30 miles from the city.

Which one do you think is the best?

I don't think it is a good idea to shift the French Open to other places. Roland Garros has been known to people for years. It is irreplaceable. Playing tennis in Disneyland is not a good idea.

GUEST9014 Roland Garros has special meaning to French Open. I guess that the FTF is not that stupid.

The French Tennis Federation voted to keep French Open in Roland Garros and the stadiums will be renovated too. The matches are possible to be played at night. The FTF hopes that this can attract more audience.
