Why do Japanese like eating blowfish very much?

The blowfish tastes delicious but it is poisonous. If you can not cook it properly, you may lose your life. I have never eaten it. But Japanese like blowfish very much. In Tokyo, there are around 1500 restaurants that cook blowfish dishes like blowfish hotpot, blowfish wine and sashimi.
