Because Manchus, 1644 - 1911, banned it's wear to try to make Chinese forget about their identity. It seems like they have mostly succeeded; it now depends on the new Chinese youth who are educated to return China to it's true self.

Say no to Qipao/Magua, bring back Hanfu
