I have recently found some places of interest to go. Although not as popular as the Forbidden City or the Great Wall, they are still interesting.

1. A Miao minority village called Basha in Guizhou: it’s said that this is the last gunmen’s tribe in China. Another thing is that the men villagers wear a unique hair style, which is said to be the oldest hair style in China.

2. Wild Elephant Valley in Yunnan: the funny thing is that, beside the trained elephants, you could find many real wild animals here. You could stand on those elephant-watching platforms built on trees to watch them bathing and playing.

3. Kanas Lake in Xinjiang: although located in the inner land of China, the water scenery here is astonishing.

The Miao Village is interesting. I konw another interesting one. In the village, the female wear a hire-style from Tang Dynasty and they also wear mini-skirt all year round .

Rover, I have a very small collection of old Chinese percussion cap guns which I don’t keep in Beijing obviously and I also collect old Japanese and Chinese swords.
