I will be visiting Foshan next moonth, arriving HK 1650 hrs. and plan to take the 1750 hrs Ferry Transfer Guangzhou. Someone will pick me up there to bring me to Foshan. This is the fastest way there? I know the alternative would be by bus or train. Please advice. Thanks.

I read the Hong Kong Airport web and it said the ferry from Hong kong Airport to Guangzhou depart at 11:40 and 16:50. You'd better make a further confirmation since it really matters to you.
Or you could just take the bus from airport to Foshan directly. About HKD190-250 and 3.3 hours. See http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hongkong/transportation/airport-transfer.htm

Welcome to Foshan.This is ivy from foshan.
you can take a direct bus at Hongkong airport (Time:18:45 / 19:20)to foshan hotel.Don't need go to Guangzhou.
