Points: Join Date: Jan 3, 2008 Status: offline	Chinese Airways have increased fuel surcharge for domestic flights since Feb 22 after the National Development and Reform Commission increased gasoline and diesel prices by CNY350 per metric ton. Major airlines such as Southern Airlines, Shandong Airlines and Air China Ltd levy a fuel surcharge of CNY90 per passenger for routes longer than 800 kilometers, and a CNY50 surcharge for routes of 800 kilometers or less. Infants who enjoy a 10 percent of an adult ticket need not pay fuel surcharge while people who enjoy 50 percent discount should pay a fuel surcharge of CNY50 per passenger for routes longer than 800 kilometers, and a CNY30 surcharge for routes of 800 kilometers or less.
