| The 39th Hong Kong Arts Festival was opened on Feb. 17. On Feb. 22, the opening ceremony was held at Hong Kong Culture Center. The bestselling mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli sung romantic from 19th century at the ceremony. The festival is said to close on Mar. 27. During the festival, 228 performances and events, including 13 new works, one world premiere, eight Asian premieres will be presented. Additionally, a Festival symposium, a series of guided tours, master classes, workshops and other festival events will be held too. The visitors can enjoy opera, dance and music shows performed by famous artists, such as Hobson's Choice performed by Birmingham Royal Ballet, Lost Tango by Ute Lemper and the Piazzolla Sextet and the Golden Lotus by Beijing Dance Theater.
