| Hi just wanna ask about HONG KONG OCTOPUS CARD. Im kinda confused. Is hong kong card can only be used for one day?.. I will be staying at hong kong for 4 nights and 5 days. Can i use my Octopus card for the rest of my stay or does it expired for a day? Should i get octopus card? Where to buy discounted tickets to park such as disneyland, ocean park, the peak, museum?... thank you |

| Real 'OCTOPUS' card will not expire (unless you have other types of cards such as Daily pass or Tourist pass, etc...). Yes, you should use Octopus card, just put HKD money in it, and you can use it anywhere (Metro, Bus, Ferry, Tram, Airport Express, Peak Tram, Peak entrance, supermarkets, 7-Eleven, many fast-foods, all cinemas, many bakeries & shops, etc...). Once you finish your visit, you can return Octopus Card to Metro customer service, and they will give you back the Deposit. As for discounted tickets, I guess you can look around for some travel agencies, your hotel, HK tourist center, etc... (don't forget to visit Ngong Ping Buddha with cable car, too) Cheers, Alex |
