Hi, I am travelling from Hong Kong to Shanghai with a Malaysian passport. I have got a valid single entry chinese visa for 30 days on a passport which has been clipped off at the corner because I have applied for a new passport. If I take both my old passport with my valid chinese visa and new passport together, will immigration let me pass through in Shanghai?

Should be OK, I did that before. Had one new/blank passport and old/expired passport with visa (though my old passport wasn't clipped, but it had 'EXPIRED' stamp on each page)
