Anyone who has experience of chinese local people who want to leave China to live abroad?

Actually more and more Chinese local people are moving to other countries, they scatter in almost every country of the world, especially in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and those emigration countries. Many of my friends are now studying abroad and some of them have immigrated to other countries. I should say the younger generation is more eager to go abroad for experiencing the foreign language and culture and it’s easier for them to adapt to a new environment.

Indeed now you mention about studying abroad.I am also a regular visitor of Cambridge,Great Britain and it is noticeable that there are many people from Asia.
But are the Chinese as free as western people to travel abroad?
