Travel fron Shenzhen to Shantou

We are travelling to Shenzhen in two weeks for business. We will have to travel one day to Shantou, and I don't know wich is the best way, and easier for a westerner.

You could travel by bus. Many bus stations in Shenzhen operats the bus to Shantou.

The flight distance bewteen Shenzhen to Shantou is 276 kms approx. And traveling by road would be around 400 kms. So in my opinion you can travel by renting a car as it would be cheaper, more covinient, as well as you can view beautiful scenery all your way. You may hire a cheap but a good mileage car from http://chinacarsrental.com/, also if you are hiring a car for more than a week then you might also get some good discounts as well.

Hey, you need to take long distance bus at Luohu Bus Station near Shenzhen Railway Station. It departs every 20 minutes.
