Advise on Trip - HK to Guiling to Yangshou to HK

GUILINTRIP Points: Join Date: Mar 16, 2011 Status: offline	I have 3 days to see Guilin, Li River and the Impression Sanjie LiuShow in Yangshou. Is the the following the best way 1) fly from Hong Kong into Guilin (plane arrived in evening), stay in Guilin 1 night 2) next day take the boat along the Li River to Yangshou 3) see the Impression Sanjie Liu show in Yangshou 4) have to stay in Yangshou that night 5) 3rd day take a taxi?? bus? Train? to Guiling airport (flight is in the afternoon I think) Thanks

Your itinerary sounds good. There is no direct bus from Yangshuo to Guilin Airport. You need to take a taxi or take bus back to Guilin and then take airport bus to the Airport.

Taxi from Yangshuo to Guilin Airport: around CNY250 and takes around 90 minutes.

Bus from Yangshuo to Guilin: it leaves every 15 minutes from Yangshuo Bus Station and takes about 80 minutes to Guilin. Then take a taxi to the Civil Aviation Mansion (CNY 7) and take airport bus to the airport (CNY 20).

PS: the airport bus is available from 06:30 to 20:00.

GUEST10240	Thank you for your Advice. Alternatively, is there a train from Yangshou to Hongkong, so that I don't have to back track to Guilin and be able to see part of China by train as well? In such a case would the one way airfare cost much more while I save on the taxi?

GUESTDAVE	I'm afraid there is no direct train from Yangshuo to Hong Kong. The only train travel from Hong Kong to mainland will go to Guangzhou.
