Tour operators for young crowd?

I did contiki a few years ago for Europe and it was a blast.

Are there similar tour operators for china like contiki, tailored for native?

Contiki does offer a tour for China, but I find $2500 for 12 days ridiculous.

I'd also be interested in single city tours as well.

I'm going to be living in Qingdao for 2.5 month.
