work and living in Hainan
Mar 25, 2011 17:16
Hi I am an AMerican man who has lived and working in beijing for the past 8 years. And really not liking this city anymore.

Have been looking at other cities for work and would like to know if anyone there in Hainan has information about foreigners living there.

I would work primarily as an English Teacher.

thanks

Which town? In general, very few jobs, mainly teaching kids, lower pay than Beijing or Shanghai.... Coming from South Calif. I was disappointed with the beaches, Sanya is better than Haikou, but even less work... I live in Xiamen now and run a Youth Hostel in the old part of town and like it better than Hainan. IMHO, it is too hot there for four or five months of the year..
