It is reported that many provinces in China have detected "extremely low levels" of radioactive material (iodine-131) from Japan’s Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. However, the officials emphasized that the radioactive material was too weak to cause a danger. Thus, people needn’t take any preventative measures.

So far, the nuclear crisis at Japan has no major impact on the environment and people's health in China. The Ministry of Health has also required the local environmental protection departments to monitor the level of radioactive material in foods and tap water

It’s good to see that China hasn’t been affected by Japan’s nuclear accident. But will you postpone your trip to China due to Japan’s nuclear accident?
