Fried Salty Ribbonfish is one of the musts when Shanghainese enjoy Shanghainese porridge. Acturally it is Ning Bo Style dish. We call it "Ning Bo Xia Fan".

My mom has made this dish many times. During the Spring Festival, my dad bought the ribbonfish and cleared it carefully. Then my mom cooked it. Very good!

Forget to say, I am in Xian. So the Ribbonfish is not only popular in southern China but also in northwest part of China.
