| Hi there, I am planning to visit Beijing soon and need to know if I can safely bring some vitamins for personal use as well as Panadol and a prescription medication in my checked luggage. Also what medication if any can be brought in carry on luggage. Thankyou |

GUESTDAVE | I think it's OK if the medicine is for personal use. But you'd better not bring too much. |

| Thanks, I was only planning to bring what I needed for the 9 days in China. I just don't want to do the wrong thing but need to take care of my health So would that be OK |

| Thanks for that, I still have a concern with the "should" Is there anywhere I can get a clear yes or no? I don't want someone at customs to say I "should" have known! Might sound silly but I have never been outside Australia and am pretty uneasy about entering other countries with their various different laws and regulations. I don't want any trouble |

GUESTDAVE | Sorry, I cannot give you a clear Yes or No. Maybe you could call the China Customs to get a clear answer: 010-65194114 |

| I've been bringing vitamins and medicine into China for years and never been checked or questioned about anything in my checked luggage. Other friends also bring medicines no questions asked Personal 'medicines' are not an issue. |
