Hi, I'm traveling to Shanghai this Friday and would like to bring my iPod with me. On my iPod I have music/movies/books/games/religious podcasts and a Bible. Would any of these items be considered "questionable" by the Chinese government and could they seize my iPod at customs in Shanghai? I want to take it with me, but I'm afraid they'll take it and I won't get it back. That would be $250 down the hole.

It's OK if the contents are not aganist China laws. FYI: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/customs.htm

Relax, this kind of thing isn't checked. It's for personal use only and I've not heard of anyone whose had their bible confiscated so what you have on your iPod is safe...............
