Is there a good way to stop drunk driving?

In the mean time, he will be forbidden to take driving test and gain a new driver license in 5 years. Also he will be fined at least CNY 1000, compared with CNY 200 to CNY 500 before”, according the draft. The purpose is to curb drunk driving. But do you think it is useful? Do you have any good suggestion on stopping drunk driving?

LINGYUXISU Points: Join Date: Dec 3, 2010 Status: Offline	My hometown authority took an action last winter during the Spring Festival: if one was caught drunk driving, he or she will be put into jail for 15 days. It works very well an dthe drunk driving decreased a lot. Chinese people cares about 'face' the most and it is a 'lost of face' to be put into jail.

GUEST2836	The police should cooperate with the car makers. I mean the traffic police has special equipment to test whether the driver drinks or not. The car makers can set this to their cars. If the driver dirnks, the car won't move. If he still try to drive the car, the doors will be closed so that he will be locked in the car.
