Real name system for purchasing high speed trains starts from June 1

The Ministry of Railways will implement real name system for purchasing tickets for high speed trains from June 1, 2011, according to Sheng Guangzu minister of the Ministry of Railways during an interview.

PS: The online booking service will be available for the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Trains at the end of June, 2011. This year, China railways will fully promote the online booking service to alleviate the pressure on buying train tickets.
