How much will William and Kate’s wedding cost? Around 50 million pounds. Who will burden the expenditure? Don’t worry. The Queen and his father has promised to burden the cost. But the British government has to ensure the safety on the wedding day. It is said that 40 million pounds will have been spent on security issues and the taxpayers will burden the cost.

It is estimated that the royal wedding will bring about an income of 1 billion pounds and stimulate the economic growth to increase 0.25 percent. In addition, the public will spend 620 million pounds to celebrate this event.

Don’t rejoice too soon. The public will enjoy a holiday on the royal wedding day. Some research institutes estimate that the UK will lose about 6 billion pounds due to the holiday because people needn’t work on that day.

I don't think so. It's just a wedding. If the economy is stimulated by a wedding, it would be ridiculous. I would rather say it may 'influence' the economy to some extent.

Congratulations to Prince William and his wife-to-be Kate. I guess that someone has magnifed their wedding's influence. If their wedding can save GB's economy, then GB should hold more royal weddings.

I am not sure if Royal Wedding can stimulate GB's economy but it does have great influence. A woman even pitch a tent on the street to watch William's wedding.

I don’t think royal wedding can even influence a niche to affect the global economy. On the contrary it was a great loss to nation when the both got engaged and whole of nation was shut down for about 3 or 4 days. The total loss estimated was around billions. I don’t think it was a great idea to close down whole of nation for just an engagement ceremony.

It can raise the reputation of royalty only. It's impossible to stimulate nation's economic growth during a severe downturn in current global economy. But I think the royal wedding can bring the positive effect to UK.

It is too early to say so. When Charles and Dianna got married, GB's economy was also in trouble. Margaret Hilda Thatcher, the former PM of GB finally revitalized the economy with the help of Charles and Dianna's royal wedding.

Is is true? It is hard to believe. I know, some individuals under the sun are more equal than others. Are they so equal that their wedding expenditure will be to the magnitude of 50 billion dollar?
I still leave my good wishes for the wedding couple and pray for their happy married life.
