Shanghai to huahngshan Mountain Base

what is the fastest way to get from Shanghai to Huangshan?

(excludes flight)

1. Shanghai - Huangshan by bus
2. Shanghai - Hangzhou by train - Huangshan by bus?
3. Or is there any other way?

There is direct train route from Shanghai to Huangshan.
And I think it's fastest and safest way to get to Huangshan.

1. Bus: go to Shanghai South Long Distance Bus Station (near SHanghai South Railway Station) to take bus to Huangshan Scenic Area directly. Time: 6.5 hours. Cost: CNY 148
2. Train: K782/K783, K8418/K8419. It takes around 12-13 hours.
3. Flight: CNY 580. Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes. More expensive but the fastest way.

I suggest you take bus to Huangshan. It can bring you to Huangshan directly.
