A panda in Wuhan Zoo kills a peacock when it broke into the panda’s territory. It is said that the peacock had been used to look for food in the panda’s house many times. Nothing happened before. Probably, the panda have been fed up with the peacock. Then he killed the peacock.

PS: the panda has a nice name---“Hope”. Hope just terminates the peacock’s life.

The panda buried its teeth into the peacock's neck.

GUEST6234 I thought panda just ate bamboo. How could he bite a peacock into death? Did he want to eat meat?

Most likely the Panda was reading the Chinese food forum on this website and decided he might want to try peacock!! It was probably conveyed to the Panda that the peacock might taste like duck or chicken. The Panda brought the peacock to the Zoo chef in the photo above to be prepared to eat. Hope is a good name and with Hope and hunger the Panda did what was natural. Bamboo gets kind of boring after awhile. The Peacock illegally broke into the pandas house looking to steal food. The panda reacted correctly under local laws that if "Ones life or domain is threatened by any means, then the homeowner has the right to eat the Intruder. SO??? what is the problem with what happened?

GUEST3710 Panadas are omnivores. The wild panadas sometimes hunt bamboo rats or eat bodies of dead animals. This panda might be fed up with bamboo. He was angry at that moment and suddenly the peacock just broke into the panda's territory. Then he decided to try something different.
