Hi everybody,

me and 5 other friends are traveling within China in October.

We're going from Hong Kong to Shanghai, to Beijing, to Xi'an, to Guilin and back to Hong Kong.

We were wondering where we can book our train tickets online, which website is the most reliable? The prices vary very much, but we're willing to pay more on trustworthly websites :).

Thanks in advance!

GUEST76218 I found it was better to book directly at the train station. As long as there are no holidays there is usually tickets available if you book a few days ahead. The C & D trains are great, but I also had the best time in a hard sleeper on an overnight trip. I was with my partner who is Chinese and we shared the compartment with others. All wanted to share food, beers and tea and between the smiles, sign language and translated converstions a great time was shared by all.
