guest76218 Is there much discounting on domestic Chinese airfares. I have done a few searches in English and checked out the SSS (spring site). How cheap should I be able to find flights from Shenyang to Xi'an in RMB.

The air tickets vary a lot and the price may be different even in the morning and afternoon, I found some economy class at less then rmb500 http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/
