The State Grid Corp claims that at least 26 provincial regions will suffer power shortages of 30 million kilowatts this year. The situation is much worse than 2004 when China witnessed the worst power shortage and the problem can not be solved in the short term.

Last month, the National Energy Administration publicized the power use forecast. It suggests that Chinese economy is developing well and in strong demand of energy. Do you think the power shortage will affect Chinese economic growth?
