If you have a Chinese wife who live in Xian with you, it is possible for you to get a 1 year spouse visiting family visa, but the marriage license, the passport or Chinese ID card of your wife, household registration sheet of your wife are required. Then after a year, you can try to change the spouse visa into work visa, but as I know, generally speaking, aliens are asked to return to his home country or exit Mainland China to get work visa, then come back to Mainland China and get an Employment Residence Permit within 30 days after entry. It is hard to change spouse visa into work visa directly within Mainland China.

GUEST34729 Please bear with me in this request for information...
I've been living in China as an English teacher for 6 years, I will be heading down to Guangdong in a few months to get married to my Chinese girlfriend, I've had it with teaching children and would like to open a tattoo shop in china!

Is it possible for an English expat to open a tattoo shop in China? Any idea of the process/visa required etc...?

If you have any views on this topic please email me at: hotmail.com|brassmonkeytattoo

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
