Is growth accelerator widely used abroad?

The food safety has been a serious issue in China due to several notorious scandals. After discoveries of the heavy metal cadmium in rice, toxic melamine in milk, arsenic in soy sauce, bleach in mushrooms, and the detergent borax in pork, added to make it resemble beef, the growth accelerator in watermelon has attracted the public’s concern.

The farmers in some regions have mistakenly used forchlorfenuron (a growth accelerator), causing the watermelons exploding in the fields. Needless to day, he exploded watermelons have caused great losses to the farmers. Many Chinese are worried whether the growth accelerator is bad for their health. GUESTLILY In China, I don't think the city people could live a healthy life. Almost all the vegetables, fruites, meat are fed with chemical products.

Don't worry. Almost all foods we eat every day are added with chemical products. We still live, right?

The reason is "those people who take food business just care about money. They never think about people's lives". Better send those guys into jail for 10 years once they are found to use additives.

I think they should be forbidden to do any kind of business activities.
