Three years ago, Kungfu Panda 1 had achieved great success in China, receiving a great box-office return of 180 million yuan. Three years later, Kungfu Panda 2 comes to China. The filim maker and its investors also plan to make big money and they did it. The box office reached nearly 400 million just in 10 days after it was shown in the cinemas.

Seeing its great achievement in China, a Chinese scholar became angry because he thought Hollywood launched “culture invasion” with Kungfu Panda. He called Chinese people, especially parents, to boycott Kungfu Panda.

Why? Hollywood came to China to understand and absorb Chinese culture. Then they made a film to make money in China. The scholar was dissatisfied about it. He said “We Chinese should protect our culture and boycott culture invasion”.

What do you think? Will you boycott Kungfu Panda?
