RELO16 Points: Join Date: Jun 12, 2011 Status: offline	hi will be visiting H.K soon and would like to go on a days trip to Shenzen . Since we are indian passport holders would like to know whether should we apply for a chinese visa or would it be possible to get one on arrival thanks

You can appy visa on arrival but I am not sure you can get one finally. I suggest you appy a visa in advance to make sure that your trip to Shenzhen won't be ruined.

GUESTEDDY	hii... we will go to shenzhen via lowu(hk) on sept 3th 2011 for two days.we are an indonesian passport holders. can we definitely apply visa on arrival from lowu port, cos this is the first time we go to china? and we already booked hotel for 2 nights. so what should we do? applying china mainland visa is much more expensive in home country. thanks in advance.

JOHNNASH Points: Join Date: Nov 21, 2009 Status: Offline	I can't 100% sure that you can get a Shenzhen visa on arrival at lowu. To ensure the trip, you'd better apply for a China visa in advance although it costs much!

Theoretically, you can get the visa on arrival. If you come to China for the first time, it might be difficult for you to get the visa on arrival. If you have the return air ticket and booked hotel and have been to China before, you have 99% chance to get the visa on arrival.

Otherwise, I suggest you apply your visa before going to China.

GUEST72194	I'm from Indonesia If I have China single entry, I go to Shanghai on 27 July then on 29 July go to Macau then on 30 July go to ShenZhen via hong kong, is possible to get visa on arrival at Lo Wu? because I heard visa on arrival will be stop during Olympic Summer Universiade. Thx
