On July 10th, some Beijing-Shanghai high speed trains delayed for the rain and wind. Only one day later, on 12th, another serious delay happened on the high speed railway line. This time, all together 34 trains delayed and one even delayed for 3 hours. The authority did not inform the reasons of delay yet. But there really was a problem with the power supply system along the railway line, for passengers saw the electric cable sparkling and the power was off on the train cabins. It still needs time for the Beijing-Shanghai high speed trains to run smoothly.

Workers are repairing the power supply system.

Read the news related Nanjing South Railway Station and you will know the reason.

The floor tiles on the Northern Square were paved "temporarily" when the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railwaywas opened. Now the tiles will be cracked and new ones will be paved again. The temporary project cost more than 10 million yuan. Now more than 10 million will be spent to pave the square again.

Heavy rain attacked Nanjing South Railway Station. The roof of the building leaked. Several buckets were put there to collect the rain. Besides, the floor tiles collapsed after the rain.

I am worried about the safety of the building.

I think the floor was paved temporarily in order to complete the project on time. Otherwise, the construction company will breach the contrast and pay liquidated damages.

GUEST19140 Sometimes fast construction is not the best construction. When it comes to construction of public places, like train stations, it's better to build well than to build fast, because the structure will handle lots of people and supposed to last long.
