If you dont like that other people eat while watching a movie then you maybe should stay at home and watch it online (anyway many chinese do it) Movie theaters have their own magic, that you share with all the other people who also like to see the movie. But i have to give you some credit, some people are just annoying, or eat so loud that they can hear it in the next show room. But many people dont know it, maybe say polite "could you be quiet please?" and then it should be all right. If not, you have the right to get one of the Staff and that they "remove" the couple.
